August 26th, International Day of Jackin Faces

Just to let everybody know, Tuesday is a beloved holiday for the caricature artist. It's International Day of Jackin Faces. International Day of Jackin Faces eve is on Monday, and it's a pretty big deal too. Some call it Beast it Day. Anywho, we at San Diego Sea World will be observing the holiday in the best way we know how. Have fun everybody. Bert, this would be a good time to bust out some scary babies. I know I'm gonna have some fun. I hope y'all do to. 

Darien Lake

Hey check this out, I noticed in our "Caricature" headlines from google there is an article about my old park Darien Lake in Buffalo, NY.  It's mostly about my old boss Adam English and how he's running the business but it mentions friends of mine, Jeremy Stock, Bill Gallagher, Adam Zyglis, and Casey Falco.  Here is the link to the article Cartoon Connection.

Being Andy Urzua

so me and Brian had this idea jokingly about caricature masks...as a way to get customers to come by when we relised it wasn't that bad of an idea.....so he quickly used my face as a spring board....for what might become a new revolutionary idea....by yours truly Andy Urzua....and co founder and designer Brian Oakes.

so anyway....we had myself and others like oakes and lil kev and manny hernandez try it on....it was fun....cant wait to see who else we can "being john malkovich" too. :)

Did this for a friend at work who is leaving, had fun doing it. It's made from plaster of paris, toilet paper, jello, and my hair...just kidding. Disapointed that I couldn't fit the glasses on though...but he doesn't even have eyes in the sculpture anyways.
