Sketch Crawl Ya'll

On Jan. 5th, to celebrate my friends Matt Zitman and Stacy Pierce visiting, I will be holding the first of many So-Cal Sketch Crawls here in San Diego. Any and all people are welcome to jump in & out at any time throughout the day at our many stops in SD. The plan is to start at breakfast and run until we can't stand it anymore. The loose plan is to visit the beach, downtown, Mission area, and many others all while filling up our sketch books with drawings, paintings, group collaborations, spilled coffee and adrenaline. So grab your sketchbook and get to steppin'. More details coming soon.

This heres a goin away gift for our friend and ex-Sea World Beast Head, Diego Estolano.  Diego and his gf Elise decided they were done looking at beautiful mountains and beaches, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona.  Good Luck, Diego, we miss you! 
 I'll hold onto this until you come back for Christmas.

Here at my art school we have figure drawing sessions. Theyre cool. Yesterday we had the most FLEXIBLE model i've EVER drawn. Shes the blonde one at the bottom.

Unfortunately she only held this one for about 10 minutes.

What up guys, Its Kev. The other day I drew a few figure drawings from reference. I really wanted to exaggerate the bodies and forms of the models. Even though these were drawn of real people I did have to rearrange a couple elements of each one to get what I was going for, which was an interesting shape, BUT I didnt make up any features. Im unhappy with a couple and Im not sure which one I like best but here they are...happy?

hey Aaron Francesca and I started this game, where we would all take turns describin' a face to one another and see how close we came to eachothers....just something fun to keep the creative brain pumped....the drawing we came up with were kinda lame...but were fun.
